We can’t thank you enough for online classes. It allows our 5 year old to keep up his Kung Fu skills, get some exercise whilst being at home and gives us a bit of time to catch up on other things whilst he is being occupied! The games are really innovative and a lot of thought goes into making sure kids can still enjoy the classes whilst watching through a screen. The weekly challenges on social media are fun too. Thanks so much KFC team!

Hannah absolutely loves going to Kung Fu Cubs. The online classes have been invaluable, both for Hannah’s mental well-being, and ours. The team at Kung Fu Cubs should be incredibly proud of the work they’ve done, fostering a real sense of family. A huge thank you from us, with a bit of love from Hannah thrown in too.

Our shy little cub is now a brown belt (3 tags away from his black belt). Once he started getting his stickers for his sticker chart and his tags for his belt his confidence began to grow. He is cheeky and developing in every aspect at home, at school and at Kung Fu Cubs.

The government curriculum for learning in preschools, nurseries and schools is called the Early Years Foundation Stage, a document outlining early learning goals and development milestones for children to complete before the end of reception year. We use those exact guidelines to create our classes in order to help children work and develop those key areas and get a boost to their confidence, school readiness and physical development! Every class is designed to help children grow. learn and reach their important milestones!
After 2 months of classes your child should have completed their full sticker chart covering all 8 skills and be ready to get their yellow belt! You’ll get an email to say well done and how you can get your belt! They’ll then get access to brand new yellow belt classes in their new month with new moves and drills to progress to.
Kung Fu Cubs classes are progressive so for the best experience from the program we recommend starting at Kicking week. You’ll get a helpful email each week letting you know what skill to work on and what your child will be gaining from practicing that weeks skill. Of course if your child has a favourite class there’s no reason you can’t repeat it as many times as you like!
Each skill has a character related sticker to award your child, we recommend getting them to complete at least two classes of that skill before awarding the sticker to help children learn how to set and achieve goals, put the sticker chart somewhere visible to motivate your child to take part in their lessons and receive and track their rewards. This is a key part of developing a positive learning attitude and building self esteem and sense of achievement.
Absolutely, your Kung Fu Cub Kit will be posted out via Royal Mail for your Kung Fu Cub to receive and open but they won’t need it to get started on their first classes, you’ll be able to access the first full month of online content straight away and get stuck into your Kicking classes or any of the wake up warm ups!
Kung Fu Cubs adapts traditional martial art moves to specifically suit the 3-5 year old age group in a fun and dynamic way that teaches them martial art skill while strengthening physical development, we use teaching techniques that are easy for this age group to understand and enjoy at the same time!
